Non-slip surfaces and our deep standing tub make bathing large dogs a safe and pleasant experience. We offer quite a few options in our baths; hypo-allergenic, oatmeal, medicated, and flea shampoos and conditioners. All dogs and cats receive a nail trim, ear cleaning, and thorough brushing out. Boarding
Whether you are planning to hit Europe for the summer or are having you allergic mother-in-law over for the weekend, we are happy to keep your dog or cat (and even your bird, iguana, or mouse) for anywhere from one night to several months. Beds, toys, meals, and cat-litter boxes are all provided by the hospital. Our boarding facilities were designed with your pet’s best interests in mind. Large cages with lambs-wool bedding provide a comfortable place to lounge when not out walking or playing in our landscaped exercise area. For our feline friends, we have kitty condos with multi-level areas to hide and play. They can see and talk to the neighboring cats, and have constant contact with our staff, who are happy to provide them with back massages, neck tickles, and toys. There is also room to expand those spaces in both the dog and the cat wards to accommodate house-mates upon request.
In addition to our regular boarding services, dogs have the option of attending day-camp at Canine Connection, located behind our clinic. Their staff will check your dog out from us in the morning for nine hours of fun and frolicking, jumping, playing, chasing, and water play with a large group of well-socialized and good-natured friends. At the end of the day, when those dogs are returned to us, they typically tuck right in with a peaceful look of exhaustion on their face.
