Our goal is to provide a comprehensive approach to veterinary care in a compassionate, caring environment. We provide healthcare for pets through a combination of preventative medicine, state of the art diagnostics, and medical and surgical intervention. Our veterinarians and staff are committed to the highest standards of care for your pets.

Malibu Coast Animal Hospital opened its doors after an extensive remodel in November, 2004. The treatment areas were redesigned and refurnished with state-of-the art equipment and diagnostics. The boarding areas were also redesigned to maintain a sanitary, safe, and pleasantly comfortable environment for the animals.

Malibu Coast Animal Hospital is located at Cross Creek, adjacent to the Malibu Country Mart and the Santa Monica Mountains. Come to Malibu and go hiking, visit the beach, grab a bite at animal-friendly restaurants while having your pet bathed, examined and treated.

Rabies Alert in L.A. County

This week, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health sent out a press release notifying the community that there has been an unusually high number of rabid bats recorded in the county so far this year. There have been 21 rabid bats detected since January, compared to an average of 10 per year. The department would like to remind residents to avoid touching any wild animals, especially bats. In addition, owners should make sure that their pets are up to date on their rabies vaccinations.
